Photos from the Bracero History Archive

The Bracero History Archive is a collaborative project that documents the lives of the Braceros from 1942 to 1964. These are a few of the photos you can find in the archive, along with oral histories and other documents. What can we learn from looking at old photos or listening to people talk about themselves?

67 Sueños

67 Sueños is a program that "uplifts and creates opportunities that support the expression of undocumented and mixed -status youth." This mural reflects their research about the Bracero program, and the inhumane situation in which the Braceros and their families lived and worked.
