Just a few photos of some of the performances and puppet-making crafts. We visited three elementary schools, two kindergartens, Flor Azul, and the university in Catacamas. Overall the students performed this play eight times, for different ages, always with wonderful reactions. The best were the kids who had never seem puppets or theater of any kind.

Hey guys! We are here in Honduras and are having a great time! Today, we have been to an elementary school that was only about ten minutes away from our village. We did our play for the children and sang "Lean on Me". All of the children enjoyed everything and even sang a few songs for us. We also had the children make puppetts which they really enjoyed as well. Honduras is a beautiful country full of beautiful people! Everyone has a story that molds them into who they are. No matter what these people have been through, they put a smile on their face and act like nothing is wrong. I love this country and I would love to come back to see them again! Much love yall!
Shout outs to my Mommy, Nana, Papa, Alvin, Megan, Janice, Mark, and all of my other loves in VA! <3 I am so excited to be a part of this service learning project trip to Honduras. We have already been working hard getting ready to take on this adventure. I look forward to seeing all of the children there and working with them for a few days. As usual with children, I'm sure I will be learning more from the children than they will learn from me. I hope to leave an impression with them too, though. I look forward to putting on this puppet show for them as well. I hope they enjoy it as much as we've enjoyed preparing for it.
Students have been preparing lessons and creating a puppet show that they will perform as we travel to different schools in Honduras. They worked on the script, the puppets, and the scenery. They've also been preparing crafts, learning about Honduras, and packing the suitcases. We're off tonight, and we're ready to go!
